The following surcharges will apply for the period 1 April to 30 June 2025.
Below is an overview of the updated rates and the basis for their calculation.
Fuel Surcharge
The fuel surcharge for this period is set at 7%.
This is based on the fuel index published by the German Federal Statistical Office.

The applicable value for Q2 2025 is calculated using the average index from November 2024 to January 2025.

Rail Energy Surcharge
For Q2 2025, the rail energy surcharge will be applied at Level 12.
The surcharge is charged in EUR per TEU and direction.
The calculation is based on the average index from November 2024 to January 2025.

Infrastructure Surcharge
The infrastructure surcharge will continue beyond 28 February 2025 and remain in effect at EUR 24.00 per TEU and direction throughout March 2025.
This surcharge is reviewed on a monthly basis.
The value for April 2025 will be communicated separately in the following month.
